I think this is when we needed fuel between Pearl and Guam. Hi-line in progress with the USS Force
Prime engine room, repairs in progress, Sasebo Japan, after typhoon Nancy. Mechanical failures were related to the storm.
In dry dock, Sasebo, Japan. Several of the hull planks were ripped off during typhoon Nancy in the Strait of Taiwan. Prime spent nearly a full month undergoing repair. If I'm not mistaken, this is when SM 1 Lewald and I (Cadwalader) had a little run-in over a flag and spent 10 days on restriction, Captain's Mass and all that. (Such fun!)
